To bos Rask 2nd pp 2021 1st pp 2023 To washington Hellebuyck Please note rask comments of retirement in march have been clairfied and are over hyped. blackngoldhockey.com/2020/08/31/bruins-goaltender-tuukka-rask-shows-no-signs-of-being-ready-to-retire/To combat any risk. Which there is little in my opinion i added a 1st and 2nd prospect pick. I realized the first opinion is to veto. But i do not think it is off side. Boston reached out with the patrick offer first before any discussion and i did reach out to talk to him first. His goal is rebuild.

I didn't even know Hellebuyck was on the block, that would have been nice to know (as I am trying to upgrade one of my goalies).

This trade has received enough votes to be reviewed. As per the CBA
Note, this trade received 6 votes without me casting the final vote.

I get the review and I am fine with it. But not knowing a person is on the block, or not starting a discussion with a person yourself is not an excuse.
This is always an issue with new joiners. So Basically we will have to say a rule is the new GM either a) cannot trade for a period of time, or b)all trades with a new GM in the first two weeks (or period of time) are automatically mod reviewed.

This trade was reviewed by the mod team and has been sent back to Boston and Washington with some additional guidance for their review and renegotiation.
The mod teams wants to make it clear GMs are under no obligation or rule to advertise players are available through trade blocks or other sources. GMs do this for their own best interests but trades are frequently completed without them.
As a result the argument “I didn’t know ______ was available!” is NOT a valid reason to vote against a trade. Similarly, a vote because your offer was not accepted is also not a valid reason. Please review the trade dispute section of the CBA or ask for additional clarification if required.

I think unfortunately with what I have, making this deal will make no sense for my goals
