Lehner off to a slow start and Schmidt not living up to the bill had me searching for another keeper D. Remembered Chicago was trying to find a better goalie than double-the-salary Bob. So, rather than dropping Bob, I had talked to Seth if he would take Bob (because I wouldn't be able to) if he were compensated in whatever way he wanted. Turned out he wanted to bolster his prospect depth a little bit. He got two solid prospects that have a good trajectory with their respective clubs.
13 player trade
Chicago In: Lehner, Bailey, Nutivaara (3) Out: Werenski, Bobrovsky, Beaulieu, Francis (4)
Arizona In: Bobrovsky, Braun, Simmonds, Francis, Brink (5) Out: Mrazek, Keith, Leason (3)
LA In: Mrazek, Werenski, Beaulieu, Leason, Keith (5) Out: Lehner, Bailey, Braun, Simmonds, Brink, Nutivaara (6)
LA rationale: Keeper defenseman in Werenski. Keith was acquired for the time being until Werenski is back to health (just barely happened), then he will be dropped. Braun and Simmonds were going to be dropped because of cap constraints (with Pavs coming in), but Seth wanted some more playoff-bound players. I get Mrazek, who should be healthy in 2-4 weeks (I am going to slot Kahkonen for the time being)
Chicago gets their goalie keeper, Arizona gets future prospects and a goalie that will get a lot of starting time in Florida.

Pretty much summed up by FFF. Hoping Lehner holds down the fort in Vegas long term. Werenski is really good but I have Chabot, Nurse and Provorov so he is a bit of a luxury.
Thanks Seth and Braeden.

Mrazek was injured, can't afford to just stash him away while my top 3 lead goes idling by. Bob gets paid a bunch, but he's not a keeper. He'll probably help me keep my cap in check too. Not the best goalie, but he does get a lot of starts in Florida due to his contract.
I am a fan of grabbing Simmonds who has done well as of late, and also grab two prospects that I think are flying under the radar.
Another fun trade to be a part of. Braeden is a weirdo for making these proposals.
