When questioned, Ford asked "Do you know who I am?"
the officer said "Who are you (who am I?) but "I believe in the man in the sky," so "I believe" "I can help", But first, you'll have to "walk the line" and if you won't you'll have to do the "jailhouse rock".
"Don't be cruel," Ford replied
For now I'll be "the keeper of the key," the officer nodded with a "suspicious mind", and "let us pray" you'll "walk that lonesome road" without "a whole lot of shaking going on," because if you go "Steppin' outta line" .
What could I say, thought Ford, "Where do I go from here?" and started his march. He later recalled "If the Lord wasn't walking by my side," I'd be a "mess of the blues". But I walked tall and realized that cop was "the devil in disguise" so when I walked back I told him "don't think twice, it's alright."
You must have a "good luck charm" tonight. But the law don't "give me the right." "It's midnight" and "I've lost you" so you better speak "softly as I leave you," and pointed at the Prefect before nodding, "take good care of her".
As he drove off, Ford realized how late it was. "It's now or never," driving like there's "no tommorrow," believing he'd see Elvis one more time. But he was too late. "Who's sorry now"? Elvis had left the building for a lousy 1st round pick
to Carolina:
Elvis Merzlikins
to Seattle:
2024 1st UFA (CAR)
Rationale: It should be obvious. My goalies are not keepers at this point. So, I should probably have one.
Thanks for the easy talks Ford

Confirmed. Rationale…I don’t like Elvis. Never have. Buddy Holly was way better.

Dying young in a plane crash, rather than old fat and washed up will have that effect

Speaking of fat, I would take Fats Domino over either one. Underrated talent.

Good choice. But I’d go with Fat’s Waller personally. “Grits ain’t grocery” is a classic

Buddy Holly has always been a sad what if with me. He was so artistically talented…I’d love to have seen what he did under the influence of psychedelics had he lived into the ‘60s and the Beatles era. Another tragic loss of an artist too soon for me was Otis Redding. What path would soul and funk have taken if Redding had lived to influence them more. I think both Holly and Redding would have significantly changed the course of popular music had they lived longer.
